Connect your own software to Informed Repricer to download reports and update listing data. Use the application programming interface (API) when you need a custom integration or a repeatable workflow managed by your own software.
If you want to ask questions about your account through Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI assistant, use the Informed Repricer MCP connection.
What can I do with the API?
Informed Repricer provides two main API workflows:
Reports API. Request and download reports and upload templates available in your account.
Listings Management API. Submit upload files to update supported editable listing fields.
The upload templates guide explains the available templates and their field requirements. Developer documentation contains the request formats, supported values, and response details for each API call.
Get your API key
You can generate and manage your Informed Repricer API key on the Integrations page.
In Informed Repricer, open Configure > Integrations.
Scroll to API Integration.
If you do not already have a key, select Generate an API Key.
Configure your integration to send the key in the
x-api-keyheader on authenticated API requests.
Your API key provides read and write access to your listing information. Share it only with software or services you trust, and do not include it in support messages or screenshots.
Download a report
The Reports API generates a report before you download the file.
Request the report or template you need.
Keep the report request ID returned by the API.
Check the request status until the report is complete.
Use the download link in the completed response to retrieve the file.
You can also list previous report requests to check their status or download an existing report again. See the Reports API developer guide for the available calls and request details.
Update listing data
The Listings Management API accepts upload files using Informed Repricer’s supported templates.
Choose the appropriate upload template and prepare the required fields.
Submit the file through the Listings Management API.
Check the submission status and any processing errors before treating the update as complete.
Files downloaded through the Reports API can be submitted as uploads when they contain supported editable fields. See the Listings Management API developer guide for authentication, submission, status, and error details.
Troubleshoot an API request
A 401 response indicates an authentication or account-access problem. An Unknown API Key message means the supplied key could not be validated. An Invalid account status message means the account is no longer active.
If a report or upload was accepted but later fails, keep the request or submission ID and check the processing status and error details. An accepted request does not mean the file has finished processing.
If you need help, send support the API operation, request or submission ID, approximate request time, HTTP status code, and error response. Remove your API key, authorization headers, and any unrelated account data before sharing the request or response.
