This strategy is useful when you are a Featured Merchant and want to exclude sellers who are not. For example, on Amazon, only Featured Merchants are eligible for the buy box, so this strategy would prevent you from competing with offers that cannot win the buy box.
Your Pre-Configured Settings Include:
Pricing Rules
Setting your first pricing rule allows you to specify the percentage or amount you want us to beat your current competition by. This can be used for any competition type and can be set by dollar amount or percentage:
Price Below: Puts your price lower than your competition.
Price Above: Puts your price higher than your competition.
Match Price: Matches your price with your competition.
FBA Pricing Rule
This allows you to set a separate pricing rule for FBA competition.
IMPORTANT:
Seller Fulfilled Prime competition will be treated the same as FBA
If you use this rule, the first pricing rule will only be used for your MFN competition.
Choose How to Reprice
When there is no competition
Choose how to reprice when there are no competing offers on a listing. This means that we have yet to select a competitor based on your strategy settings or no other seller is listed for your item. Your options are as follows:
Do Not Reprice: Your price will not be revised until the competition is recognized.
Use Min Price: Your min price will be used until the competition is recognized.
Use Max Price: Your max price will be used until competition is recognized.
Use Machine Learning: You will be repriced based on your historical sales data.
When competition is below your min price
Choose how to reprice when your competition's price is below the minimum price you've set. Your options are as follows:
Do Not Reprice: Your price will be revised once your competitor's price goes above your min.
Use Min Price: Your min price will be used until your competitor's price goes above your min.
Use Max Price: Your max price will be used until your competitor's price goes above your min.
Ignore Competition: When your direct competitor is below your min price, you have the option to ignore this seller and be repriced against the next eligible seller based on your existing strategy settings.
When the competition matches your min price
Choose how to reprice when your competition's price matches your min price. Your options are as follows:
Do Not Reprice: Your price will be revised once your competition's price no longer matches your min price.
Use Min Price: Your min price will be used until your competition's price no longer matches your min price.
Use Max Price: Your max price will be used until your competition's price no longer matches your min price.
Ignore Competition: When your direct competitor matches your min price, you have the option to ignore this seller and be repriced against the next eligible seller based on your existing strategy settings.
Price out-of-stock listings to Max Price
You can maintain your max price on listings when out of stock. In-stock listings will reprice according to strategy settings.
Smart Price Reset
In order to help drive prices up, SKUs with the competition will go to Max Price and stay there during the period with the fewest historical sales. Learn more here.
Exclude Amazon as a Seller
This setting allows you to exclude Amazon from your competition completely.
