What is a suppressed Buy Box?

A suppressed Buy Box means Amazon is not displaying a Featured Offer on the listing. Shoppers may see See All Buying Options instead of Add to Cart or Buy Now.

Why is the Buy Box suppressed?

Amazon suppresses the Buy Box when none of the available offers qualify to become the Featured Offer.

Common causes include:

  • The offer price is too high.

  • The offer does not meet other eligibility factors, such as shipping speed or seller performance.

Check Pricing > Pricing Health > Pricing Opportunities in Seller Central to see whether Amazon identifies a pricing or eligibility issue. Amazon decides whether a Featured Offer appears and when it returns.

Does Informed keep repricing when there is no Buy Box?

Yes. By default, Get the Buy Box and Build Your Own strategies that compete against the Buy Box use Continue repricing when the Buy Box is suppressed.

Informed Repricer lowers your price in small steps at regular intervals, but never below your minimum price. Lowering your price may help when price is preventing the Buy Box from appearing, but Amazon determines whether the Buy Box returns.

You can choose a different behavior using the When the Buy Box is suppressed setting.

How do I find listings with a suppressed Buy Box?

On the Listings page, set the Buy Box Status filter to Buy Box Suppressed.
