Business Pricing

Learn about our Business Pricing feature

What is Business Pricing?

Business Pricing is an Informed Repricer feature that automatically manages the prices you offer to business buyers on Amazon and Walmart, alongside your standard retail repricing.

Both Amazon and Walmart run business programs (Amazon Business and Walmart Business) where registered businesses and organizations buy from sellers, often in larger quantities. Sellers can set separate business prices for these buyers. Business Pricing keeps those prices competitive for you so you can win business orders without managing a second set of prices by hand.

With Business Pricing you can:

  • Keep your business prices competitive around the clock without manual updates

  • Manage retail and business pricing separately

  • Set different business pricing rules on different strategies

  • Keep every business offer within the minimum and maximum prices you set

How do I enable Business Pricing in Informed Repricer?

Enabling Business Pricing is a two step process in Informed Repricer, and it works the same way for Amazon and Walmart.

First, you must set your individual marketplaces to Business Ready via the Marketplaces page. You can do this by navigating to the marketplaces page and toggling the Business Ready toggle to On for all marketplaces you would like to begin repricing business.

Second, you must enable and define your Business Pricing setting on your individual strategies. You can do this by editing an existing strategy or creating a new strategy.

Once enabled on the strategy, you can choose from the following options:

  • Retail Price Matching: Use the same price as your retail offer, providing business buyers with flexibility without affecting margins for single units.

  • Flexible Discounts: Set discounts of either a fixed amount or a percentage based on the retail price of the product.

After you save the strategy, every listing assigned to it will have its business price set automatically based on the option you selected. The minimum and maximum prices set in Informed Repricer also apply to your business prices, so business offers never go outside those limits.

Important: Business Prices are automatically sent with retail price changes, meaning your business pricing will only begin to send once your listing reprices for the first time after the setting has been enabled.

Do I need to enable anything with Amazon or Walmart?

Amazon: No action is required in Seller Central. Business Pricing works as soon as you enable it in Informed Repricer.

Walmart: You must be enrolled in Walmart Business through your Seller Center account before Informed Repricer can set business prices for you. If you are not enrolled, your business prices will not apply, so confirm your enrollment in Seller Center first.
