What is Strategy Automation?
Strategy Automation enables you to assign listings to a chosen strategy based on specific filters, such as stock levels, Buy Box status, competition's price, and many more. Once set, the system automatically applies the selected strategies to your listings as these conditions are met. This feature helps automate the repricing process, reducing the need for manual adjustments and enabling users to maintain the best pricing strategy for each SKU.
Common Use Cases
Here are a few examples of how you can use Strategy Automation:
Slow-moving inventory: Automatically assign slow-moving items to a more aggressive strategy to boost sales.
Buy Box listings: Move listings that are in the Buy Box and priced at their maximum to a strategy with a higher maximum price.
Low stock: For items with low stock, switch to a strategy that raises prices to optimize margins.
Setting Up Strategy Automation
To set up Strategy Automation:
Go to the Listings Page in your Informed Repricer account.
Use filters to segment your listings based on the conditions you want to automate (e.g., inventory count, Buy Box status, etc.).
Click "Automations" on the right side of the filters bar and select the strategy you want to assign to this custom view. Set a priority from 0 to 100, with 100 being the highest.
Click "Save" again to create your new Strategy Automation.
The desired strategy will be applied once a listing falls into your created Custom View.
What happens if a SKU falls into more than one view?
If a listing matches more than one Strategy Automation, the automation with the higher priority is applied. Each automation has a priority from 0 to 100, where 100 is the highest. You set the priority when you create or edit an automation. If two automations share the same priority, the most recently saved one is applied.
Managing your Strategy Automations
You can see and manage all your Strategy Automations from one place under Configure > Automations. From this page you can:
Drag and drop your automations to reorder their priority.
Edit any automation using the same editor you use on the Listings page.
Enable or disable an automation.
Delete an automation and restore it later from Recently Deleted Views.
Open an automation's listings on the Listings page with one click.
